Here’s to 2009

Saoirse (pronounced “SEER-sha”) is Gaelic for “freedom”.
We could do with some more of that this year, and maybe less war and occupation.
Of course, I’m not necessarily gonna put my money on that happening . . .

I think that is an awesome name for a person! Although, be prepared to have it mispronounced multiple times every day of your life, unless you live in Ireland.
