Travel cat: still travelling
Gave my talk on Saturday, and they didn’t kick me out of linguistics, so it can’t have gone too badly! Actually, I think it went well, and I got some good questions and discussion afterwards that will help me continue the work.
Travelling down the state now and currently in Bloomington, where it is SNOWING! Which is very exciting for me, although a big let down for all the poor Hoosiers who thought that they had put winter finally behind them.
Going out now to get breakfast at the Runcible Spoon and then visit the local bookstores. Then tomorrow it’s off to Evansville.
Update: I think we have located the hipster capital of the United States. Although, as Lauren points out, I’ve never been to Portland…
